SGX Minerals have launched a new product called METAGEO SILICA D980 in the Indian Market, which will play a vital role to provide strength and durability for superstructures.

A group of minerals called tectosilicates, which produce C-H-S gel, make up the MetaGeo Silica D980 (Densified) series. While making the gel formation with water and cement, the materials NaAlSi3O8 and CaAl2Si2O8 have respective compositions, where sodium and calcium atoms can replace each other.

With the help of extra CaOH in the concrete mortar, silica reactivity is caused when water reacts with the minerals and produces more gel. As a result, the additional gel reduces the gel's porosity and produces durable concrete that is void-free.
