Bauxite is basically an aluminous rock containing hydrated aluminum oxide as the main constituent and iron oxide, silica and titanium in varying proportions.

In 2010, SGX Minerals started operations of Bauxite mines at Gumla districts of Jharkhand.

DESCRIPTION Bauxite is the main source for Aluminium. Bauxite is mainly used in Electric Arc Furnace, Blast furnace , Steel, Ferroalloy, Refractory and Cement Industries.
